“A lawyer’s stock in trade is his time.”

A note about fees. We cannot quote fees over the telephone or via email. Fees come in different shapes and sizes. Examples are:
- A contingency fee; it is often used for personal injury or medical malpractice cases; there is no fee if there is no recovery.
- A second type is a flat fee or retainer; this is a fixed amount to be paid for a specific service to be rendered. It is often used in bankruptcy, criminal defense, basic wills or uncontested, no-fault divorces with no other issues.
- A third type of fee is an hourly rate; this is often used in contested family law matters, real estate, and driver licensing issues.
We will discuss the nature and extent of your fee at the end of the consultation. Our charge for a consultation is $50.00 for a 30 minute consultation; if your matter is more involved we will not hold you strictly to the 30 minutes in terms of additional charges. You will receive more than you pay for. For matters concerning personal injury, medical malpractice, workers compensation there is no charge.
